I can describe how different plants reproduce.
I can put plants into groups based on how they reproduce.

Punga, harakeke, rimu and kōwhai each belong to a plant group based on how they reproduce. To find out from your whānau, kaumatua and the internet about how these plants reproduce. You will need to use your notes from Part 1 of ‘The sex life of plants’. Once you know how these plants reproduce find out the names of some other plants that belong to these groups. Explain to others why you have chosen these plants. What makes your chosen plants similar to punga, harakeke, rimu and kōwhai?
